The Great Corona Revival of 2020

Greetings friends, family, and Kingdom collaborators! What an interesting era we are finding ourselves! We have been challenged and stretched in so many ways over the last few months. Our plans for 2020 quickly shifted but we know that God is faithful. Matthew and I have affectionately termed this time “The Great Corona Revival of 2020”. Many years ago Matthew challenged me, and others, to begin to view things in our lives as opportunities, not problems. That mindset, even though it is tough at times, has given me a greater perspective on how to love and lead the people God has put in my life. Did we have to cancel really important ministry advancement opportunities? Yep! Is God still faithful? Yep! Did OUR timelines get delayed? Yes! Did God’s? Not at all! Plant Utah planters have risen to the challenge of how to love and lead in spite of Covid-19. They had to think outside the box. Moving plans had to be adjusted. Assessments delayed. Problems? Nope, not from our perspective. Have we had moments of frustration? Oh yes! So while our 2020 vision and goals may not look the same we are still here in Utah making disciples who make disciples and planting gospel-communities in our 4th and 5th cities this year! So far it has been a weird, overwhelming year that will continue to cultivate and grow us in ways we could never have imagined!
