Plant Utah

It seems as though God is really answering our 9:38 prayer! Several years ago, we committed to pray twice daily at 9:38 (see Matthew 9:38) for the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His field here in Utah. We have recently made a connection with a church planter for the Saint George area and several more prospective planters and team members for Utah County. God is moving beyond our expectations.

Transitional Housing Update

We recently hosted a missions team from North Summit Church in Sandpoint, ID. Thanks to their hard work, we were able to get about 80% of the drywall hung for the apartment. This apartment will provide short and medium-term housing for people who have fled or have been excommunicated from any of the various polygamous communities here in Utah. We will be hosting three more mission teams over the summer and hope to have this project completed by fall. God is good.

Utah Valley Church

July will be the one year anniversary of our public church service.  Disciples are being made and the church is growing. Every week we continue to connect with new people through our mid-week community groups as well as our Sunday service. Since Easter, we have seen nearly ten people come to faith in Christ, resulting in 6 baptisms with more to come!

We have a strategic partnership with The Well, another new church plant we are assisting. This partnership has allowed us do diversify in ways we wouldn’t be able to alone. In many ways, we function as one large body, but with localized community pastors. We hope to keep multiplying this model throughout the city.

Also, we looking to hire a part-time Worship Leader/Missionary this year! We have had two great interviews but are still accepting applications. Look below for more details.

The Crossing – Grant and Terri Clark

Grant and Terri are now in the team building phase of their church plant. They recently took in three young boys through foster care. They could really use your prayers and financial support during this time of transition.
